Lenovo A6600, A6600 Plus and A7700 with VoLTE launched in India, prices start at Rs 6,999

To cash in on the popularity of VoLTE-enabled smartphones in India, Lenovo has launched three new devices in the country. Dubbed the A6600, A6600, and A7700, they are budget offerings with VoLTE (voice over LTE) support. The brand says that the new A series smartphones boot Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box with minimum bloatware to give users more storage and speed compared to the competition.

The Lenovo A6600 offers a 5-inch HD display with 72 percent screen-to-body ratio, a matte rear design, and chrome finished accents. The phone is powered by a 1.0GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek 6735p processor, clubbed with 1GB of RAM. It comes with an 8-megapixel autofocus primary snapper with an LED flash and features like face detection, scene detection, and zero shutter delay. Other specs include a 2-megapixel selfie shooter, 16GB of expandable memory, dual-SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,300mAh battery. The A6600 Plus comes with 2GB of RAM, while the rest of its specs are the same as the A6600.

The Lenovo A7700 is a phablet-grade offering that comes with a 5.5-inch HD display. The phone offers a 1.0GHz 64-bit quad-core MediaTek 6735p SoC, aided by 2GB of RAM. It comes with an 8-megapixel primary snapper with a dual-LED flash, a 2-megapixel selfie shooter, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 2,900mAh battery. The device also sports dual speakers on the back with Waves Maxxaudio technology.
The Lenovo A6600 has been priced at Rs 6,999, but there's no word regarding the price of the A6600 Plus at the moment. The A7700 has been priced at Rs 8,540. They will be available via major brick-and-mortar stores across the country later this month in Matte White and Matte Black hues.
